Banana Island

With this short film, director Caroline Schwarz approaches the refugee theme in a creative way. The project gives the refugees a face and on the other hand it breaks up the classic argumentation structure "Us here, them there". Both are alone in the encounter . Amnesty International supports this short film. It encourages reflection and questioning and is very suitable for use in schools. The set uses the metaphor of bananas and thus manages to underline the subject matter by exaggerating it.
